Fuad Alymani
Fuad Alymani, born in 1996, is a contemporary visual artist based in Prague. He holds degrees in contemporary visual arts from Birzeit University in Palestine and Konstfack University in Sweden. He began his artistic career at a very young age in Ramallah, working across a wide range of mediums, including traditional techniques such as acrylic and oil painting, as well as photography, digital art, illustration, and 2D animation. Alymani’s work focuses on themes of heritage, identity, and the right of return, highlighting the impact of occupation practices on the daily lives of the Palestinian people, both directly and indirectly. He also explores the broader repercussions of these practices on social, cultural, political, and educational life, affecting different classes and segments of society in the occupied territories, including the West Bank and Gaza. His work has been exhibited internationally in cities such as Cairo, Tangier, Berlin, Naples, Dubai, Prague, Washington, Bratislava, and Madrid.
