A documentary photographer and visual storyteller from the countryside of Hama, Syria. I am interested in exploring the relationship between man and space, and I use the image as a means of understanding memory and documenting the social and human transformations experienced by local communities. In my work I seek to get closer to people and their daily stories, with a special focus on the rural environment and stories associated with the land, identity and memory. I worked as a photographer, director of photography and mounter in a number of short films and visual and musical projects, and also participated in photographic works in international exhibitions. I aspire to develop documentary projects that contribute to the presentation of honest human narratives that start from the local experience and address a wider audience around the world.
