Hussein Haddad
Hussein Haddad, a Syrian photographer who uses photography to understand. His practice grew from an early questioning of truth and what is allowed to be seen. Photography became a way of looking at the world, questioning what lies beneath its visible surface, and exploring the distance between what is seen, imagined, and erased. Through documentary, street, and art photography, Hussein explores how looking can become a way of knowing.
