Yura is a visual storytelling non-profit in Berlin, Germany. We develop projects in Palestine, Lebanon, Jordan, and Syria, partnering with local independent artists and supporting creative initiatives through fundraising. Our mission is to create social impact by telling powerful, visually driven stories. We believe that through storytelling we challenge stereotyped, dehumanizing images of racialized people, migrants, and other sidelined social groups in the mainstream media and wider public sphere.
